Adaptive Aids & Therapy Grants
We know that insurance coverage is not a guarantee for any adaptive aids or therapies, regardless of your child's need. We are happy to provide grants to eligible families to assist with these costs.

Overview:

Grants of up to $500 are available for eligible families

Funding payments may only be made to the guardian of the child with a trisomy diagnosis
-
Eligible families may receive a grant once every 12 months
Eligibility:

Therapy or Aid must be denied by insurance

Applicant must be the guardian of the child with Trisomy 18 or Trisomy 13
-
Live in the U.S.

Families that received a grant for Travel For Care in the last 12 months are not eligible for Therapy or Adaptive Aids Grants
Application Checklist:

Applicant must provide Driver’s License and photo of a utility bill at current mailing address if different than address on license

Medical Documentation:
-
Provide proof of trisomy diagnosis on official letterhead signed by provider, or from medical chart, with child or guardian’s name, date of birth, diagnosis, and treating facility or diagnosing entity (lab corp) visible. For Prenatal cases only: we may accept similar documentation to support suspicion of a trisomy diagnosis, if further testing is being forgone.

If approved, applicant must provide bank account information for ACH payment, or have a physical check sent to primary address
